{A Few Things You Should Know}
Past:
I grew up in a small town in South Dakota, surviving my older brother long enough to get involved in art in high school. I was into drawing, and four years later it inspired me to choose a degree that involved lots of it: architecture. So I moved to Lincoln, Nebraska.
After a semester of architecture at UNL, I switched to the art college in favor of graphic design and photography. I sold my turn tables and bought a mountain bike; re-met my dream girl (long story, but you're welcome to ask me about it); graduated in 2005; married my dream girl and moved to Texas with her so she could finish school.
Present:
Three years in Texas has moved me through some interesting job positions. Everything from a postcard designer, to Flash designer, to selling cars (another long story), to being a creative director, to learning HTML and PHP so I could use WordPress, to working for both small and large web design firms. Right now, I'm working for the Gnome as a Sr. Web Designer and I love it. In my experience, I've come to learn all sorts of things about CSS3, xHTML, WordPress, Jquery and Magento Ecommerce.
When I'm not in front of the computer, my life is spent enjoying my blessings with my beautiful wife, Kayla. If I'm not racing my mountain bike, I'm utilizing my Jeep's 4x4 the way it should be, planning the next camping trip, finding a cool christian metal show to see (Oh, Sleeper are a KILLER group from Ft. Worth...), and playing Scrabble or Connect 4 on our iPad with Kayla. To put it shortly, God has truely blessed me!
Future:
I'm excited about where God is moving me. The future is not always certain to me, but I know He is in control.
